Minimum Wage Increase

The National Minimum Wage increases on a yearly basis April. As of April 2018, the Apprentice National Minimum Wage has increased from £3.50 to £3.70 per hour.

This rate applies to all apprentices under the age of 19 and to all apprentices over the age of 19 who are in their first year of programme.

This rate is set by the government as a mandatory guideline but wages will always vary from employer to employer who may set their own rates above the national minimum wage.
